The ingredients needed to prepare Dates Chutney:
  1. You need 8-10 dates
  2. Get 4 dried mango-pulp slits
  3. You need 1 bayleaf
  4. Prepare 1 dried chilli
  5. Take 8-10 cashew nuts
  6. Take 10-12 raisins
  7. Take 1/2 teaspoon tamarind juice
  8. You need to taste Salt
  9. You need 1 cup Sugar
Steps to make Dates Chutney:
  1. At first wash 8-10 dates well in hot water,take out the seeds & cut them into pieces.
  2. Now take Dried-MangoPulp slits(amsotto) and cut it into small pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan & temper with a bayleaf and a dried chilli.
  4. Now,pour sliced dates,sliced - dried-mangopulp slits,8-10cashew nuts &10-12 raisins into it.
  5. After stiring for a while add a pinch of salt and a cup of sugar.
  6. 1/2tspn Tamarind juice can also be added.
  7. Now add a cup of water & let it boil.
  8. Turn the burner off once the gravy thickens.
