  1. Prepare 2 cups Basmati Rice

Steps to make Navratan Pulao:
  1. Take 2 cups Basmati rice washed and soaked in water for 1 hour then cook, drain and set aside.
  2. Mix the saffron with warm milk and set aside.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a kadai,when ghee melts,add dry fruits and fry until they turn little brown and take them out in a plate.
  4. Then fry all vegetables one by one, take them out when they turn crunchy.
  5. Now add Paneer and fry until it gets little brown as well.
  6. In same kadai add cumin seeds,whole garam masala,bay leaf and stir fry
  7. Add cooked rice, salt and mix gently
  8. Then add vegetable, paneer, dry fruits and raisins.
  9. Mix all ingredients well.
  10. Pour saffron milk and 1 tsp ghee spreading uniformly,cover and simmer for 5 mins.
  11. Take out the Pulao in a plate.
  12. It can be served as it is.
