  2. Use 1/4 cup Chana dal / bengal gram

  4. Provide 1/4 cup urad dhuli dal / split black lentil

  6. Get 3 tablespoons oil
  7. Take 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

  12. Prepare 2 teaspoon ginger, green chilli paste

  1. Wash and soak rice and all lentils for 7 hours
  2. Then grind adding curd into a smooth batter
  3. Keep it covered to ferment for 8 hours
  4. Now add ginger green chilli paste and chopped coriander leaves
  5. Now add grated bottlegourd and carrots
  6. Add salt, turmeric powder and pepper powder,Mix well
  7. Now heat oil in a nonstick pan and crackle sesame seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves
  8. Pour the batter mixture in pan and cover with a lid and keep on low flame for 15 minutes
  9. When cooked flip ot and let itt cook from other side too on low flame for 10 minutes
  10. Then turn off the flame and cut into pieces and serve with chutneys
